George is a rare blend - a combination of remarkable Bible teacher, enthusiastic follower of Christ, prolific reader, deep thinker, sensitive and caring friend, and personable pastor with a hilarious wit.

He is a saint, but his halo never gets in the way! He gets leaves in his gutters like everyone else and he has the same occasional aches and pains that the rest of us suffer!

He enjoys life, particularly when it involves a boat and a fishing rod. On occasion, he has also been known to whack a ball on the golf course! He and Glenda like to travel, and with two of their three kids living several hours away, and with family down in Louisiana, they have plenty of opportunity. Oh, Louisiana... LSU. He does have an affiinity for purple and gold, and "in season", he may get a little extra enthusiastic.
